I’m not usually one to feel grateful towards corporations for anything but in this instance - in this past year or more in fact - Sony has gone out of its way to reach out to indie devs and publish games that truly matter on their PSN service.

Not only is this great for sad sacks like myself who can’t even run Proteus on their PCs properly (I know, I know), but it’s even better for furthering the exposure of game experiences that attempt to speak to our spectrum of emotions as human beings, rather than just “fun” or “power” like usual.

In other words, Proteus is yet another fantastic game amongst many others than you can find on PSN and just its presence there, at this point in time, is an uplifting signal of the wide potential for all kinds of games to become just as readily available to play as Sony has made Proteus.
